I have taped 2 Metallica shows this year:
13 june 2003 Imola, Italy - Heineken Jammin' Festival
11 december 2003 Bologna, Italy - PalaMalaguti
with DPA4061 mics + MPS6030 battery box and a PCM-M1. Sound quality is very
good, Bologna sounds a little better.
Would like to get in touch with other 'Tallica TAPERS for more 2003 shows.

Better late than never! Miles was tha' shiznit.
That's also my favorite era, so some other albums along those lines are:
Dark Magus, On the Corner, and Live Evil (awesome!).
I also like the Bill Laswell remix album called Panthalassa.
The Bitches Brew box set is also said to be great, and I'm hoping Santa will
bring it for me.
I only have one of the fusion-era live recordings, and then I figured out
later it's the same recording as Dark Magus, so you can get a better copy of
that show by buying that album.

Am I able use the same cue sheet for both 48khz, and 44.1khz waveforms
without causing problems? or do I need to make 2 sperate cue sheets, one for
44.1khz waves, and one for 48khz waves?

using the line-in will bypass the bass roll-off filter
in the battery box. An attenuator cable will let you
record at a higher volume without taking the chance of
overloading the built-in preamp in the deck.

Subject: Creating Track IDs and CD-Text on Live CDs

Hello,
I'm working on a project and could use some advise.
I have a CD with only one Track, but it has about 12 live songs on it and
last for like 76 minutes.
A few years ago, I would just clone it to a home MiniDisc deck and create my
track IDs that way. But since then I've learned that MiniDisc uses
compression and I want to avoid that.
I'd like to find a computer program that I can use like the MiniDisc deck
for creating Track IDs in the very specific spot that I want them in.
Minidisc lets me listen to the start of the track ID before I made it final
and if I didn't like that spot I could adjust it forward or back in
increments of 0.06 of a second. ( a note: DAT lets me adjust an ID by
increments of 0.3 of a second, but that's not specific enough for me and
I've tried, I can't get the ID right where I want it.)
Also, I'm looking for a program that will allow me create CD-Text for my
discs. You know, the kind of text that you find on those record label
artists from Sony, when you pop in the disc it tells you the artist, and the
album, and when you go play a track it'll tell you the song title.
I have a Marantz CDR631 that'll let me add CD-Text to a CDR, but if I can
find a computer program that'll let use my Keyboard to type in titles
(instead of a remote control) that would be much easier.
Any help you can give would be great!
