You have lost nothing, just as the musician has lost nothing - I would gain something, just as the taper has gained something. Let's not also forget that some of those who don't allow open taping at their shows are now looking for old bootleg recordings for their "retrospective" official releases since they were stupid enough not to tape the shows themselves, or the recording of the show was jacked up as was the case in the Montreal "Hammer of the Gods" show (Dream Theater's Mike Portnoy's Led Zeppelin tribute).
