Email me for details ------------------------------ From: Bruce Burnett Subject: test Date: Fri, 26 Dec 2003 20:54:11 -0800 (PST) test __________________________________ Do you Yahoo!? New Yahoo! The main sound engineer doesn't like tapers. They tried to charge us $100.00 to tape from the audience and $500.00 for a full matrix board feed, but we managed to talk our way out of paying for to tape from the audience. Be prepared to go stealth. Oversaturated Bass: I agree with the majority. Keep your levels on the conservative side. You can always boost them later in post-production. Trust us on this one. The pre-amps on DAT's can't handle loud incoming signals, and the closer you get to -0.0 db, the greater chance of overstauration occurs. No software (as of yet) can remove those horrible frequencies once they have been induced onto your master. Run the filter when taping, and play back your DAT with a spectrum analyzer, and you can see what frequencies need to be fixed. Fixing Tascam CDRW700: Tascam Parts Dept. in California sells new motherboards for about $116. Sounds like leaky caps, as was the case in my Tascam CDRW700 Bruce Burnett II __________________________________ Do you Yahoo!? New Yahoo!
