I have seen that he does have a taping policy but haven't seen much of his
work
floating around. If you have anything from him please shoot me an e-mail, I
can do
snail mail or FTP.

hopefully, some actual tapers will respond to this if I post again.....(at
the bottom)
grovelers - hit me up after March 8, 2004 or look for the offer I WILL make
here ON THIS LIST after the shows in early March.............
Is that all people do on this list? Swoop in on anyone that they can get a
show from??? Or even the hint that they might be able to get a show??
The shows don't even happen for a month and I have 8 responses from people
wanting copies of the shows already. But I have gotten NOT ONE response from
a taper who will be covering a show on the upcoming tour who will be
interested in a trade. I know, I know - give that some time. Maybe it will
happen. Key word - maybe.
Amazing!
For the fall tour I took a GREAT DEAL OF TIME putting together tapers for
every single show on the tour because it was the first time that Primus
allowed open taping. I even started months ahead. It was a way for all the
Primus tapers to come together, coordinate, trade etc. etc....
Then after all my efforts I had to actually beg for these same people to
trade w/ me. The tour was long over and I still had not heard one show from
the tour. To date, I have secured about 5 shows from the entire tour. A BIG
THANX to the tapers that came through!!
However, this reply to my request-to-trade really took the cake. I am
leaving the name out because I am not trying to start something w/ this
person in ANY WAY, SHAPE, OR FORM. Read it and you will understand where I
am coming from in this post:
> First of all sorry to hear about your dilemma of not hearing any
shows, that's a bummer.
> I added myself to your list for "documentation purposes only". I am
currently "Not Trading" and my etree list has stated that for almost
a year now.
> My Primus shows are multiple microphone matrix mixes. In other words
I have to wait for 2 or 3 other people to send me their DAT clones,
before I can mix anything, and by the time I mix them everybody
already has the BT/FLAC files form some other source. This is one of
the reasons I'm not trading my Primus shows. Plus I have way too many
friends (that attended the shows) that just throw CD's in my bag and
say "hey you owe me show" (they are tricky like that)
> "all good things in all good time"
Yep, it was too tough for this person to clone a few DATs in trade w/ me for
other shows. "documentation purposes only".... ??? Hell, I would have been
happy for a recording made w/ just 2 mics!
yeah, SBD's are available - so what!?!
some people still like to trade audience sources at a more affordable rate
end of rant

Hello Everyone,
I recently listened to the "Red Letter Days" album by The Wallflowers and
enjoyed it very much. I'm just wondering if anyone out there got any
recordings from that tour? Would love to hear some live shows if there are
any out there being traded. Drop me an email.
Thanks all.

One more I never traded at the time.
I have the full gig as an aud, I don't know
of a full audience recording of this floating
about.
Joe Strummer
Date Location Source D-Gen Time

I also have an almost complete Radio broadcast
of this show as well, 1 song is missing (Straight
to Hell) as Joe flipped and smashed a BBC camera
up and ranted on about the right to privacy (so its
probably never going to be broadcast).
