I was there but decided not to tape as the venue's sound was not too great BWT: Notwist 4-15-03, Chop Suey, Seattle on 1 CD-R ------------------------------ From: "Mr Mxblxyxh" Subject: shipping live disks overseas Date: Thu, 19 Feb 2004 17:06:46 +0000 I think the way around this "shipping copyrighted materials" is to mis-label the items. ie - label each disk things like "me-playing guitar in my bedroom, my cat falling onto the floor, etc." - or no label at all - just disk 1,2,3,4,etc. I mean, they can't actually be playing the CDs unless there is something on them that would make them suspect. jd _________________________________________________________________ Watch high-quality video with fast playback at MSN Video. I saw a mic stand up at one of their shows before, and I got permission to tape Camper Van Beethoven last year. That would explain why no browser would work from your computer, but other computers are fine. ------------------------------ From: mark Subject: WTS: SBM-1 Date: Thu, 19 Feb 2004 10:44:46 -0800 (PST) I have an Sony SBM-1 I may sell. Date: Fri, 20 Feb 2004 02:59:24 -0500 Hello, dear DAT friends. Just a quick question for anyone familiar with the Nomad Jukebox 3 (either the 20 or 40 gig version): The device is supposedly Mac compatible. However, I can't get my G4 iMac (OS 10.2.8) to recognize the deck using either the USB or Firewire interfaces. My first gen Nomad Jukebox pops up immediately in iTunes (v4.2) when I jack it in, but no dice with the Jukebox 3. Are there any Mac users out there who have either been able to or failed to get the Jukebox to work? A quick email to my personal account (taperjake@hotmail.com) is fine; no need to clog the list with an answer to a fairly obscure question. Thanks!
