The mixer I originally recommended is small and battery powered.
But it lacks "solo" buttons and has only 5 stereo pairs of inputs.
(10 inputs total if you're willing to put things hard left or hard right).
It's called a Rolland MX-5 and lists for $200, but I bought it (many
years back) for $99 at Guitar Center.

Karl,
I use the Samson Mixpad 4 (4-channel) for recording, and have had great
results. It runs on 2-9V batteries + an additional one if you need phantom
power (18V, not 48V). It has pan and gain controls. I think they also make
an 8-ch version. Avoid Behringer. Good Luck.

CSU that I need to sell. They are in Sec 123, Row L, Seats 3 and 4. Face
value is 52.50ea. I'll eat the ticketmaster charges and cover postage. Just
let me know if you have an interest.

Hi,
I'm looking for people to tape these upcoming Shellac of North America
shows in Europe:
March 25, 2004 London, UK at Scala
March 28, 2004 Camber SAnds, UK All Tomorrows Parties
March 29, 2004 Paris, France at La Maroquinerie
March 30, 2004 Amsterdam, Neth. at Melkweg
March 31, 2004 Groningen, Neth. at Vera
April 1, 2004 Brussels, Belgium at Ancienne Belgique
All these shows need to be stealth taped. I'll cover the costs for a
couple of these shows, tickets, batteries, dats, for people with decent
gear. I have tons of shows to offer in trade also.
I think another Dat-Head is taping the All Tomorrows Parties shows.
Uzeda is the opening act at all but the All Tomorrows Parties show.
They're worth taping also.
thanks,
Geoff
