Soundcard with digital inputs ("Martin Klingmeyer") ISO: recent Black Keys ("Wade Cooper") Portland Australian Pink Floyd tapers? ("Chris Mcgrath")
From: "Martin Klingmeyer" <martinwk@ptd.net> Subject: Soundcard with digital inputs Date: Sun, 21 Mar 2004 10:16:42 -0500 Can anyone recommend a good soundcard with SPDIF ins/outs? ADAT light pipe would be a plus, but not required. I have outboard converters. Let me qualify "good soundcard" I am not looking for an esoteric, temperamental, card with all the bells and whistles like DSP processors and Wavetable synthesis. Stability is key here. PCI card, must work under Win 98. Currently I am considering a Dakota Montana, or SoundBlaster Live. Thanks, Martin
From: "Wade Cooper" <digitaldank@hotmail.com> Subject: ISO: recent Black Keys Date: Sun, 21 Mar 2004 12:00:27 -0500 Looking for DATs/shns/etc of any of the recent Black Keys shows. Recent shows include: Columbus, Pittsburgh, Boulder, Akron (x2), Little Rock, Memphis, Austin (SxSW Fest) Can trade for other Black Keys shows (disc only), can send blank DATs for a clone, or can transfer and return your DAT(s). Lemme know. Reply-To: "Chris Mcgrath" <imissmybus@earthlink.net> Date: Sun, 21 Mar 2004 09:31:10 -0800 If anyone out there is planning on taping the upcoming show at the Keller Auditorium would you please drop me a line? I'll be taking my 9 year old daughter & want to just sit back & watch her mind be blown without having to worry about anything else. I'd be willing to pay for your blanks & a couple of drinks if it might encourage someone to run tape. It's not much but thought I'd offer anyway. Thanks, Chris BWT: B&P Pink Floyd 4-21-94 Oakland Coliseum; Neumann KM254's > Tascam DA-P1 3 discs I'll take as many as I can.
