Monte Montgomery is playing Lee's Liquor Lounge in Minneapolis on Wednesday,
3/31, taking the stage at 10 pm (opening act is at about 8). I'll supply
the ticket if any Minneapolis tapers are interested in a great night of
music - in either case you owe it to yourself to check this guy out if
you're at all a fan of Michael Hedges, Leo Kottke, Hendrix, Fleetwood Mac,
Stevie Vaughan, or Mark Knopfler. He simply must be seen to be believed.
I'll toss in a bunch of pre-taping ban live discs from the board for anyone
who takes the offer up.
Unfortunately it'd have to be stealth only. Please contact me if you're at
all interested.

Does anybody know about Sony CD-R's? Since they are made in Japan are
they manufactured by Taiyo Yuden or does Sony do them themselves? Also,
are they reliable... or at least as reliable as any other brand out there?

anyone taping?... if so, you should try to also
record the opener, Martha Wainwright... she's a
great singer/songwriter with a powerful voice...
...and yes, she is sister of Rufus (and daughter
of Loudon Wainwright and Kate McGarrigle)...
i was thinking about going to friday night...
since it's Irving, i assume it will be a stealth
or nothing show... but does anyone know if the
new Television it taper friendly?

I'm wondering if anyone knows if taping will be allowed for Edie's tour
starting next month. She has always allowed taping, both audience and SBD
and even video, but with this tour things might be different. I'll
hopefully be running AKG 480/ck61 > Mini-Me > D8.

I used the web site to order the registered version with a credit card and have also emailed them but have gotten no response from them.
