Heads Up!
PC Mall has a Sony MZ-NE410 for $59.99. It is a recorder/player can store
up to 5 hours of PC audio onto a MiniDisc - converts MP3, WMA, and WAV files
to ATRAC (or ATRAC3 in LP2 or LP4 mode) for MiniDisc playback
I know there are many here who do not approve of the MD format. Personally,
I have used some of the best gear out there. Does the MD stand up to it?
No, of course not. Am I awed every time I use my MD? Yes. It is
absolutely amazing what can be packed into such a little size unit for such
a little price. It seems to me even the most ardent critic would have a
hard time reprobating this $60 investment.
This is a reconditioned unit. Personally I prefer reconditioned units.
Typically the "bugs" have been worked out of the device. They usually come
with a full warranty for a fraction of the price.
Finally, I have always had good luck with PC mall. www.pcmall.com
