The higher FFT size requires a longer noise sample (when executing "Get Profile from Selection"). It's important that the noise sample have nothing in it but the noise, so sometimes I'll take a small piece of noise and paste it over and over several times to make a long-enough sample for CEP noise reduction to use. --Gary ------------------------------ From: "Luigi Bagatella" Subject: info on modified battery box for DPA4061s Reply-To: "Luigi Bagatella" Date: Sun, 18 Apr 2004 15:01:24 +0200 Hi guys, I would like to purchase a modified battery box for my DPA4061s (the MPS6030) with switchable bass roll-off. I don't want to send my unmodded battery box, I want to buy a brand new one and receive it already modified. Can you suggest any shop/guy who can do this for me? Any help is kindly appreciated. ciao Luigi ------------------------------ From: "hiroyuki tanaka" Subject: Radiohead Tokyo shows trade Date: Sun, 18 Apr 2004 23:06:15 +0900 Hello, I taped Radiohead Tokyo shows (4/17/2004 and 4/18/2004). I used Sony TCD-100 and DSM6S. If someone is interested in trade on DAT, please send me your list. Especially, I am looking for Radiohead, Neil Young 2003/04 and etc Thanks Hiro ------------------------------ From: William Mitchell Subject: M-Audio Firewire410 Mobile Recording Interface Date: Sun, 18 Apr 2004 13:52:17 -0700 I have a M-Audio Firewire 410 Mobile Recording Interface for sale. This Firewire 410 is new and was purchased as a test/review unit. My tests showed that this is a great little box, well priced for those who want to get audio into their computer via firewire. It is capable of high resolution recording via the built in mic preamps (which sound real good for this pricepoint), it can digital transfer audio from DAT or CD, has headphone monitoring and is capable of multichannel playback off your computer. For those interested in laptop recording, it will run off your laptop's battery out in the field. for more information and specs go to: http://www.m-audio.com/ index.php?do=products.focus&ID=5f35def5b4107998b11119907053a313 The Firewire 410 comes complete, in the box with all cables, software and literature. It has been used less than 4 hours in a clean, smoke free studio. I'll sell it to the list for $330 including shipping. I have photos, if needed. thanks, Will ------------------------------ From: "James Tierney" Subject: tortoise's current tour/policy? Reply-To: Date: Mon, 19 Apr 2004 03:27:12 -0400 What's the policy look like for Tortoise's current tour? I know they've been OK with audience taping in the past, sometimes without telling the venue as much. Looking to clarify last minute, since I didn't hear about these shows until tonight. I'll be at the Roxy Tuesday, and possibly at Toads tomorrow. -=- James Tierney Brown University Providence RI 02912-2111 ------------------------------ ** FOR YOUR REFERENCE ** To unsubscribe from this digest, please send email to dat-heads-unsubscribe@datheads.phish.net If your email address has changed, you may (optionally) send the message to dat-heads-unsubscribe-oldaddress=olddomain@datheads.phish.net and the old address will be removed.
