One of two annual comedy dinners for the press and the president 
occurs tonight at 9:30pm ET on C-Span (C3/7).  Repeats expected 
tonight and maybe tomorrow.  The live show is scheduled for 2 
hours; repeats are generally shortened.

Toby Lightman, a great new female singer/songwriter is going to be touring
in May with Josh Kelley, and i'm looking to get as many of her shows taped
as possible.  She has a truly amazing voice, similar to Fiona Apple, Sheryl
Crow or Alana Davis.  you can check out the handful of her live sets that

she has an open taping policy, but i've yet to find a policy for Josh Kelley
(though he seems to be okay with it) so taping may be stealth or depend on
the venue.  if there's any way you could go and tape her set at one of these
shows, please let me know!  i can pay for your ticket.
