From: r.zarkesh <theCZark@hotmail.com> Subject: Liars Liars Liars Date: Tue, 4 May 2004 12:41:43 -0400 I got the Liars show and all the opening bands from 04/18/04. They all came out really well and would like to trade for other masters of similar bands, but am open for anything. Also the liars are going to be picking up their tour throughout Scotland and England, if anyone could tape these dates, I would really appreciate it. The liars don't have any policy on taping, but depending on the venue, I would say be prepared to go unnoticed. http://www.liarsliarsliars.com/livedates.html Liars Young People 90 Day Men Get Hustle MM-HLSC-1 > MM-CBM Mini > Creative Nomad Jukebox 3 @48khz Thanks. ryan.

From: =?iso-8859-1?Q?music_=A0tradet?= <themusictrader@fsmail.net> Subject: Tracy Chapman and new to your group Reply-To: themusictrader@fsmail.net Date: Tue, 4 May 2004 19:44:37 +0200 (CEST) Hello everybody thank you for allowing me into your group I eventually got there after perseverance (I'm not very technicaly minded). I was browsing the Internet today and found the DAT and noticed that some of you have some performances by Tracy Chapman. I don't have a very big collection but I am hoping to further my Tracy Chapman collection. I have scowered the web pages for hours looking for Tracy Chapman performances and the people who have them either don't respond to my e mails or just don't want to trade. If anybody out there has any Tracy Chapman performances please take a look at my trade / swap list: Tracy Chapman 7th March 2003 Sheffield City Hall England- UK (2cd's) - I attended this show with a group of my friends and one of them was able to record the performance. This includes the opening act Jason Mraz who was also very good 2 hours 34 minutes. Very good sound. 15th March 2003 Manchester Apollo England 2 (cd's) - I again this show which was marvellous again Jason Mraz was also recorded. 2hours 25 minutes Very good sound. Alladdin Theatre - 16/12/95 - Radio Broadcast 2 CD's 90 minutes Very good sound Bridge School Performance - both nights 20th&21st October 2001 Very good sound Gothic Theatre - 12/02/91 - Very Good CD Thank you Linda Slater -- Whatever you Wanadoo: http://www.wanadoo.co.uk/time/ This email has been checked for most known viruses - find out more at: http://www.wanadoo.co.uk/help/id/7098.htm
From: Franklin Morris <franklin@the-murdocks.com> Subject: FS: Sonic Studios SS-DSM-6/L + PA-6CL Battery Box Date: Tue, 04 May 2004 15:11:01 -0700 Hi everyone. Im just a poor musician now so I sell my last item of value - a set of Sonic Studios Mics + Battery Box. http://www.the-murdocks.com/misc/dsm1a.jpg Up for grabs is a pair of Sonic Studios SS-DSM-6/L Microphones with a PA-6LC Battry module that is necessary to send power to the mics. I am the second owner of these mics (The first being none other than the famous Chris Hickman). I have had them for about 2 years and used them about 20 times. Condition is Good+. There are a couple little marks on the mic loops where i put some clipy things on them once. It made some small dents (in the loops, not the mics themselves). This is purely cosmetic and does not effect the recording quality one bit. Again I must stress that these mics are Sonically Perfect. With these mics and battery box you need nothing else. Just plug them into you DAT / MD / Cassette Recorder and start making some recordings. These things are famous for picking up exactly what the human ear hears while eliminating most of the crowd noise and talking. The have much better dynamics than mics that cost twice as much. You really dont start to top Sonic Studios DSM-6s for live recordings until you get up into the CSHEB or DPA range ($1000+). I'd like to get 400 for this set (plus maybe $5 for shipping) Or Best Offer (this means I will entertain offers for less, and hopefully get enough to pay my rent). Here are some pics of the actual mics. I have a crappy web-cam so please excuse the blurry photos: links: http://www.the-murdocks.com/misc/dsma2.jpg http://www.the-murdocks.com/misc/dsma3.jpg Email franklin@the-murdocks.com, AIM Fats Morris, or post here with any questions or inquiries.
