Hey there,
I'm looking for to hear from anyone who might have used Ipods for live
recording. I checked the dat-heads web site but I couldn't find the
link to search the digests. I'm hoping the subject isn't too far off
the mark of the list.
I'm interested in the do's, don'ts, mic recommendations, etc. Please
reply directly to me, rather than posting to the list and I'll submit a
summary if there is interest.

Hi,
I have a question. What is the resale value on a 60m or 90m DAT that
has been used once? I have several dozen DATs (of live recordings in
several genre) that I need to unload. I just sold my TCD-D8, which
was my only unit, so I can't even hear them now.

I have a new, uncirculated Queens of the Stone Age show I would like to
offer up to the list.
It's from the Asylum in Portland Maine. Unfortunetly, the taper did not
record the date except that it was 1998...so a very early show!
I can only make CDR copies of this but my copy is direct from the
master>CDR(1).

any professionally shot tidbits would be great, i have quite a lot
already but want to try and make this as complete as possible.
should be about 3 or 4 XP mode DVD-Rs at this point (i used XP so that
the audio would be in PCM, otherwise SP mode would have sufficed)
if anybody wants a dub i should be able to have it all ready to go in
about a month (i.e. mid-july)

who are willing to trade - looking for masters on DAT,
esp. coming from the taper themselves or from low gen
DAT clones from the master. Have much to offer in

from any years - really need to catch up on the
'80-'94 tours. If you have anything of known gen on

We've lost anther great today, ray Charles. what a
voice and what a personality. I've never seen a
happier person perform and tell a story with such
feeling. One of the times I was lucky enough to catch
him live was 9/9/98 Sugarbush, VT and I'd like to
share this show. A great performace in a beautiful
