Curious if anyone out there has a nice audio source for the Van Halen
Hershey show. I have a minidv master of the show and would love to mix my
audio with someones because my audio comes in waves due to the poor sound at
the venue. Any help would be awesome!
Thanks,
Justin

Selling off two of my used home decks... $189 obo for the
Tascam, $39 obo for the Sony. Both work great, but the Sony
doesn't seem to like 90m tapes or longer (60m tapes work
fine!). Both prices are negotiable. Pictures of both decks

E-mail me (justin AT alamoana.eng.hawaii.edu) if interested.
thanks,

Unit purchased in 2002 from Terrapin Tapes. No more than 65 hours of use.
Never used for transfers. Use of REW and FF kept to a bare minimum(almost
never after the purchase of a home deck soon after getting the M1) Always
kept in watertight otterbox when not in use. Serviced and cleaned by
Pro-Digital in October of 2003. Only used for 2 shows after that. Still
under repairmaster warranty which is (I believe) transferrable to a new
owner. All original accessories included except rechargeable batteries.
7 pin coax cable has been kept in original bag sent from Terrapin.
(purchased from them)
500.00 firm + shipping
I've seen this combo go for less but I'm standing firm on these prices. I
think it's a decent deal considering the hours on the deck, the warranty you
can transfer, and the overall condition of the gear. (Great)
PAYMENT: Paypal or money order accepted. I can only accept a paypal payment
if it's a cash payment. I refuse to pay the associated fees for accepting a
credit card payment.

I've been slowly cleaning up the taping room and have a pile of GD DATs
that are looking for a good home. They are a mix of 60m and 90m tapes
and most are on KAO or Sony DDS blanks. There are 28 tapes total - I'd
prefer to send them all to one person and would like to trade them for
20 sealed Sony DG90P DDS blanks (~$2.25 each from most vendors) - the
Maxell DDS blanks are fine as well if you prefer. Here's the list:

Hi,
Wondering if anybody had any tips for taping at the El Rey in LA? This will
be non-stealth (taping one band in the upcoming Battle Of The Corporate
Bands). Looks like it's GA+SRO so I was thinking I'd just grab the board
feed, but maybe it's possible to run mics safely from the sbd location too?
Thanks.
Steve

More extra stuff that needs to find a home - I have a pair of MarcSounds
binaural mics that have sat unused since I bought some Neumanns a few
years back. They are similar in design and stealthability to the
CoreSound and Sonic Studios stealth mics - I can e-mail digital photos
to anyone who is interested. They include a separate battery pack with
bass rolloff filter - the rolloff filter consists of a 5-dip switch for
each channel, so you can control how much bass you roll off depending on
the type of show and venue - I have all the literature that came with
the mics that explains how to use the filter. They also include the
original small foam windscreens that came with the mics and a neoprene
pouch that holds everything. $100 and they're yours - contact me if
interested or have questions and I can send photos etc.
