With Jane's Addiction breaking up (again), I thought
I'd go back to working on my list of known audio
recordings. If you have taped Janes in the past or
can add any info, please get in touch.
The list can be found here for now:

Hey folks.
There were posts on the list a while back to look for offers for this but I
never saw any. I am particularly interested in getting the Jeff Beck and Joe
Walsh parts. If anyone can help with these or more..I do have the Clapton
part only...I would appreciate it very much.
Thanks,
Jim

Thanks to Dan @ AmDig, I have a copy of this show to pass along to the next 3
people to reply to me offlist at stevem@thenightowl.com with a promise to
reoffer to the list. Winners will be notified. I'll leave this open for a day
or so to let the digesters (like me) get a chance to win. Dan's original
notes are below..
Good luck!

Tech Notes
I used EAC in secure mode to extract all tracks at 100%
no reported errors. Cool Edit Pro 2.0 was used to align & synch both
sources. CEP2.0 used to adjust the volume for the front, rear, center
and LFE channels. Some hiss noise reduction applied to the SBD using
CEP2.0. Surcode
CD Pro DTS was used to encode to DTS.

More On DTS
Today's audio standards are moving towards multi-channel
sound, like DTS and Dolby Digital. While the Audio-CD
standard (Red Book) hasn't changed to accommodate these
new sound formats, it is still possible to go around the
specification and to put a 5.1 surround recording on a
regular Audio-CD. To play a DTS-Audio-CD you must connect
your DVD/CD player via a digital cable (optical or coaxial)
to your DTS Dolby-Digital receiver. It is not 100% sure
that your receiver will recognize a DTS-Audio CD, so the
first time you're trying to playback a DTS-Audio-CD you
must do a test to determine if it can. Begin with the
volume very low, start the disc and rise the volume
gradually. NEVER listen to a DTS-Audio-CD through the
analogue audio outputs of your CD/DVD player.
Burning Instructions
Burn them the absolute same way as you would burn any
normal Audio-CD from .shn files.

To anyone taping Rush on the current tour, use (2) 60m tapes, 1 for set 1 & 1 for set 2. That way you can start
rolling about 5 minutes before the show starts, and start rolling when you see video on the screen for set 2.
You'll run out if you only use a 90m tape. And keep rolling for the Outro, funny stuff!!
