She is an Algerian singer who, to me, sounds a bit like Sade.... a real fun show.....especially for those interested in world music. I think she will mostly be in Europe this summer but i think she may play a few more show in the US/ Canada. her site http://souadmassi.artistes.universalmusic.fr/ Also, taped Lila Downs if interested... but up and down sound for her set.... Mail - 50x more storage than other providers! http://promotions.yahoo.com/new_mail ------------------------------ From: "Gary Davis" Subject: Good deal on "Japan" DVD-Rs at Office Depot Reply-to: g@hoxnet.com Date: Mon, 12 Jul 2004 01:52:44 -0700 Office Depot frequently runs a "2-for-1" sale on Maxell DVD-R (or +R) discs, made in Japan. "Made in Japan" is the marker that I use for determining which DVD-Rs are likely to be better-made. The current deal is 50 discs for $40, no rebate required! The store I went to was out of the 25-pack spindles, but I got them to sell me a 50-pack at the same price. (The manager actually said, she could do it for half-off, but that worked out to exactly the same price). These yellow-faced 4X discs seem to be nice discs; I've been using them for the last 4-5 months with few problems. P.s. of course I don't work for Office Dept. or Maxell! I occasionally work for the Dat Store, which pays Maxell way more than this price for the same discs! --Gary ------------------------------ From: "Michael Kiefer" Subject: ISO Taper for Berlin/Germany ,Amsterdam/Netherlands and London/U.K. Date: Mon, 12 Jul 2004 11:38:32 +0200 Hello DAT Heads, i am in urgent need of taper in the locations i mentioned above.
