I know it exists, but I just can't track it down. Any pointers? Also looking for masters>dat of Floyd '87-'89. Would absolutely love to track down any 1994 DAT clones I don't have yet, as well. I'd be happy to over-compensate to get what I need. Have *plenty* of the same to offer in return. Reply-To: "Slipkid" Date: Thu, 15 Jul 2004 23:59:03 -0400 sorry for the off topic post but thought i'd tale a moment mention this..... it appears that a subscriber on this list has the "W32/Netsky.D-mm" virus i just received an email spoofing the reply-to address of , with the subject of "re: your picture", containing the virus in a file attachment called "your_picture.pif" this is a pretty common virus, it will take over your PC, turn it into it's very own mail server running in the background, and send out tons of infected emails to addresses it finds in your email, and at the same time make itself look like it is coming from other addresses that you've received mail from more info on this bug can be found at various antivirus vendors like: http://vil.nai.com/vil/content/v_101064.htm http://securityresponse.symantec.com/avcenter/venc/data/w32.netsky.d@mm.html http://www.trendmicro.com/vinfo/virusencyclo/default5.asp?VName=WORM_NETSKY. D the PC which sent me the virus has IP address 219.66.201.169 doing some simple internet snooping, this looks like it is located somewhere in the PACrim, probably australia? if you're in the pacrim (actually, no matter where you are), take a minute to look at your IP address, and if you're 219.66.201.169, then please run an anti-virus program or take manual steps to fix your PC! i've seen these self-mailing bugs turn into a huge hassle on some other email lists i'm on there are several ways to determine your PC internet address, one very simple way is to just go to these link & it will display it for you... http://www.lawrencegoetz.com/programs/ipinfo/ happy safe computing..... ------------------------------ ** FOR YOUR REFERENCE ** To unsubscribe from this digest, please send email to dat-heads-unsubscribe@datheads.phish.net If your email address has changed, you may (optionally) send the message to dat-heads-unsubscribe-oldaddress=olddomain@datheads.phish.net and the old address will be removed.
