I'm looking for folks who can catch the following Los Lobos shows and
record them for the archives:
7/24/04 Fraze Pavilion, Kettering OH
8/1/04 Songs at the Lake Festival, Lake Placid NY
8/2/04 Washington Park, Albany NY (Free Show)
8/4/04 Uptown Mix, Nashville TN
8/6/04 Simon Estes Amphitheatre, Des Moines IA
8/7/04 River Splash, St. Louis MO (Free Show)
If you are planning or able to catch and record any of these shows,
please get in touch and I can get you on the guestlist and/or otherwise
facilitate taping permission etc.

Was anyone else taping the Axis of Justice show last night in Hollywood?
I saw quite a few tapers, including a dude with a portable mic stand
plugging into what appeared to be a D100. I also taped, so please let
me know!

It's probably too late to get a reply before the show, but if anyone
knows if mum (icelandic band, really good stuff) is taper-friendly,
that'd be great. Also, if anyone's ever had any issues with even
trying to bring a stand into Echo Lounge (Atlanta) I'd love to know
about it to just not even bother taking it.
Also, I'm going to see Alanis Morisette + Barenaked Ladies at Hi-Fi
Buys, so if anyone can tell me if they're really anti-taping or if
that article I read recently was just cracking down on some asshole
selling bootlegs. Last time I was at hi-fi buys, the security was a
bit ruthless and I'm not even gonna bother if it's gonna be a 2-for-1
anti taping special that day I think. If anyone's been to the venue
this summer and knows how thorough they're frisking people, that'd
help too. Last time I was there for radiohead they were being pretty
thorough and it sucked.
Any advice/info would be fantastic, thanks!

to sell this gear. i have a D100 with about 100 hrs on it, a prodig
modified sony active 7 pin with I/O, and a 3 ft. pair of audio magic x-tremes. pleae contact me at clark@taperssection.com, prices below.
D100- 425, includes pleather case, 4 2250mah rechargables w/charger, ac adaptor and 1 60m tape.
7-pin- 95, this is the best cable on the market, the prodigital modified, sony active 7 pin with coax in and out
x-tremes- 65, 3ft pair, these are mint, used to connect v2 to minime, dont ahve the v2 anymore, so here they are
