As for soundboard patches, this is from the maintainer of the excellent Bright Light! site (http://www.youngteam.co.uk): ===== Forwarded message from Rob Strong ===== always worth a try. their soundguy, Myk, and tour manager, Simon, are probably your best bet. It's unlikely that they'll be using these show to road-test tracks for the next album, but if they are, you may well get a 'no'. their main concern will undoubtedly be the whole' we don't know this guy, is he going to rip us off' thing - if you know any of the venue staff who can vouch for you, that'd be useful. ------------------------------ From: "Gary Davis" Subject: The Dead on Leno tonight (TUE) Reply-to: g@hoxnet.com Date: Tue, 20 Jul 2004 02:33:00 -0700 ssia ------------------------------ From: greenleaf95@webtv.net (Mick) Subject: 311/Roots/MWW tour taper friendly Date: Tue, 20 Jul 2004 06:59:47 -0400 Hey Folks, Is this summer tour taper friendly? Date: Tue, 20 Jul 2004 06:23:34 -0700 (PDT) Good morning people. Im new to taping and had a couple of questions to ask about transfering a dat. I recently aquired a TCD-100 and a mic setup. and have taken it with me to several shows I wanted to transfer the recordings to my Computer I have a Audigy Soundblaster the one that has a slot of its own under my DVD burner it has spdif & reg coax aux inputs. Midi & optical in and out. My question is what is the best & and most not expensive cable to use for transfer. And also where to obtain one. And if anyone has an extra or something I could buy used from them would be great. Just wanted to also say hello to everyone. thanks for all the great shows and hope to add to a great list. Enjoy your day. snuffy... __________________________________ Do you Yahoo!? Yahoo! It's seen very little use over the years as I'm not a trader and only used it to backup music projects from my Panasonic 3700. There are a few scratches on the top but outside of those it looks brand new. Serviced once by Paul at ProDigital about 10 years ago but don't remember what for, works fine and guaranteed to be so. Includes the manual and remote for it and I will throw in 15 to 20 dat tapes of various lengths. $100 OBO. $15 shipping and insurance. U.S. 48 only, will accept Paypal. Please e-mail me at md@munsonllc.com if interested. Thanks Art Munson ------------------------------ From: Brian Gemborys Subject: Australian (Melbourne) FM tapers Date: Tue, 20 Jul 2004 12:00:41 -0700 (PDT) Hey, Can anyone in Australia record an FM broadcast for me? The details are as follows: B&S perform live in PBS Studio 5, this Friday (that's July 23) on Beat Orgy with Steve Cross, 5-7pm - this will be their only live radio performance in Australia! Tune into 106.7 FM. I'd gladly trade generously for a good copy of it or reimburse anyone for their expenses/troubles.
