This mic package is going to go up a little different than
before, I need to sell these. Thanks for the space and
sorry to those who have to repeatedly look @ my threads.
1. a. I bought used guitar center mics in Feb. from a
member on this board for $150:
http://www.taperssection.com/yabbse/index.php?topic=13837.0#msg171217
b.Todd Romero <todd@routeflap.net> performed a Dorsey
Mod on his own pair of GC Oktava's then I swapped mine for
his plus $100 for the modification service. He can verify
the modification and I can provide pics Todd took of the
electronics.
c. These mics include all standard Oktava accessories
(hard case, mic mounts, -10dB pad), original pre-mod parts,
and unmatched card caps that came with the mics.
$200 OBO for these mics.
2. Oktava MK-012 full matched cap set (omni, card, hyper)
ordered brand new from the sound-room in spring of 2004 for
$435. Fantastic condition, I have the receipt as well as
all documentation from testing AND the handy case box the
Sound-room provided. Sound-room matched caps sell for $178
a pair.
$350 OBO for the set.
Pics available.

"Sirius Satellite Radio will air one of the two concerts VR played on June
8th and 9th earlier this year. It's not known which one of the two dates.
Here's what was posted on Blabbermouth a few moments ago: 'Velvet Revolver
Live and Loaded' will air exclusively on Sirius on Sunday, August 22
starting at 7 p.m. ET on commercial-free music channel Octane / 20. The show
will be rebroadcast at 10 p.m. ET. The interviews and live concert
performance were digitally recorded at the Wiltern Theatre in Los Angeles."
Is anyone able to capture this to DAT or pcm? If so, can you please contact
me?
Thanks,
John

Subject: Nakamichi CP4 Windscreens

Hello there!
I had a question for those out there who use the Nakamichi CP 4 shotgun
capsules.I've noticed that my Windscreens for my caps appear to be
deteriorating.As in,when I handle them,or take them out of their case,I get
all this black miniscule powder/residue coming off the screens.
And the screens seem to be getting flimsy and losing their shape and form.
Any other CP 4 user's ever have this problem??.
I've had them since 1986,so they certainly are getting old.
Any suggestion's on where I might find suitable windscreen replacements for
the CP4??
Any help would be "Gratefuly" appreciated ;-)
Thanks in advance!
