Just thought I would shoot a line out and see if anyone has a set of Nak cp3 or cp4 caps that they may like to part with. I'm really happy with my nak mics but would like to enhance them with some different caps. I've got cp1 and cp2's. Stay Kind, Dana ------------------------------ From: "john e. bogus" Subject: Ozzfest report and an ISO..... Date: Sun, 29 Aug 2004 04:16:50 -0400 As DRider has pointed out, Thursday's Ozzfest show in Camden (8/26/04) was a bit unusual, and I really need a copy of this 'Sabbath set too! Also looking for the 8/28/04 Burgettstown (Pittsburgh) 'Priest set..... I just got back from taping the 8/28/04 show, Ozzy is back to performing (he looked like hell and sounded a little rough in spots, but held it together well and still put on a great show) now. Did great with my own masters, except that I missed all but the last 50 minutes of 'Priest's set (got there late, 'Priest went on 10 minutes early, and I had to set up right under the nose of an overfriendly security guard). So for anyone holding the 8/26/04 'Sabbath set or the (full, or at least the first 1/2 hour) 8/28/04 'Priest set, I can offer my 8/28/04 masters (which I will for the moment keep otherwise uncirculated ), or have a handful of 'Sabbath and 'Priest (and others, of course) masters of past tours too..... Thanks for the posting, john e. bogus ------------------------------ From: "tchapman livetrade" Subject: Advice ourchasing recording equipment Date: Sun, 29 Aug 2004 11:10:04 +0100 Hi everyone. I am wanting to start recording live concert shows but really need some of your expert advice. I have never had any experience of this in the past but I have been advised of a dat recrder or minidisc recorder. Does anybody have any advice? My aim is for the concerts to be as clear as possible and don't mind how much it costs to purchase the equipment. I am not too technically minded so it would be ideal if I could purchase a recording unit that could then be transferred to CDR. Does any body have any recommendations? Like I said earlier I have been advised of the minidisc recorders and to buy an additional external mic. I would want the recorder to be small to fit in a pocket with the mic being able to be clipped to a jacket or something. Anybody can make it to tape them? I'm in Tokyo now, and can't make it. http://gopher.mnstatefair.org/entertainment/details.lasso?id=73&location=Heritage%20Square Drop me a line, Jonathan ------------------------------ From: Nick Zuccaro Subject: ISO: 90s greyboy allstars via FTP... Date: Sun, 29 Aug 2004 11:08:41 -0700 (PDT) hey there, subject says most of it....latley i've been on a big FUNKY SOUL tip and trying to dig up some new stuff, i'm just getting turned on to some of the older 90s GBA shows so i'd like to trade for a few...i'd prefer to do ftp trades if it's at all possible. i also heard that reid from JFJO is playing with robert walter's outfit now so i'm really curious to hear some of that too...anyway, for trade bait i do have a few of the '04 gba reunion shows but i'm mostly into jazz now, tons of eclectic stuff - drop me a line if you want to set up a trade or two...l8r..Nick ------------------------------ From: A.M. Hoping for some more help. I have a Sony D100 and a PCM-R300. Both are having tape transport problems. After spending half an hour on Sony voice-mail hell, I was told that they hadn't heard of the products and I should call their pro division. Anyone know of a reputable place that does repairs on dat decks? I'd PREFER a place in the San Francisco Bay Area where I could take the deck for servicing, but will gladly mail if needed. Thanks again. Chris _______________________________ Do you Yahoo!? Win 1 of 4,000 free domain names from Yahoo!
