Anybody have a Sony 7-pin to optical in/out that's gathering dust somewhere? Lost a couple of Ebay bids and thought I'd try another route.
If you have one and want to sell it for a few bucks, drop me a line.

I am looking for any audio or video content related to
lobotomies. I know this is a bit of a strange request,
but it's totally serious.
An audio piece about lobotomies is being put together
and we are looking for found (support) material.
Anything, not matter how remotely related to lobotomy,
would be appreciated, but material about Walter
Freeman would be particularly useful.
Thanks.

Myles/Audio Archivists,
This was George's (ACL Archivist's) reply....not much help.....I do not
have any involvement this year as years past...based on the fact that I
was responsible for informing security on what was allowed in (i.e.
recording equipment) this will NOT be done this year and much less
equipment will be allowed in...I think the reason you had problems last
year was due to a shift change on security from the person I originally
informed. I would suggest contacting via ACL website and bringing a
printout of any confirming reply emails.
good luck,
Jeff Anderson

I think it's along the lines of "no professional aequipment allowed", but not exactly sure.
people can find it on the site though. generally, not allowed...
best back at ya,
G

George,
I'm sure your shifted in high gear for ACL! Several people have been
inquiring to me whether audience recording will be allowed as it was the
past two years?
If it will be allowed, security will need to be informed so that they
will allow recording equipment, mic stands etc...which several people
were turned away last year at the front gate for having this equipment..

Jeff

Hey gang,
Anybody have any Snow Patrol recordings? A friend of mine in England
suggested I give them a listen. I saw them on Letterman last week and was
quite impressed. Would like to hear some more. Email me for my list if
you have anything.
Thanks,
Tony

I currently have a set of MK41 mics running to an Nbox > mod SBM1 > M1. I'm
looking to essentially get rid of all this stuff and purchase a pair of
ccm41L or ccm41vL mics. looking for a used set if anyone is looking to get
rid of. I don't want to sell any of the stuff I have until I have a possible
deal lined up for the ccm mics. Drop me a line at halteh3 AT rogers.com if
you're looking to get rid of some ccm mics.
Thanks
