From: Rich Hammond <rlhammon@netscape.net> Subject: ISO: Norah Jones - 08Sep04 Meadowbrook Music Festival: Rochester Date: Sat, 11 Sep 2004 08:27:21 -0400 ISO of subject show from a few days ago. I had problems with the wind, rain, and the many, many people who insisted on using their umbrella's inside the pavilion. Hopefully someone out there got a decent copy of this show. I have one or two other Norah shows to trade, but collect other things that might be of interest. Please respond if you have a copy and are willing to trade. Thanks, Rich

From: Jeff Shirkey <jcshirke@midway.uchicago.edu> Subject: PCM-M1 Trouble Date: Sat, 11 Sep 2004 18:04:54 -0500 List, I recently got my PCM-M1, but I'm having trouble with it not loading tapes properly. Step by step, here's what's going on: When I open the latch, the display says "open" for a second, and then it shows "no tape" again. The lid does open a bit, and I can then pull it the rest of the way open on my own. So far, so good, I guess. I then load a tape (window up, arrow facing forward toward the machine). Close lid. No problem. The display then shows "load" and I hear the motor inside running. But then it toggles between "unload" and then "load" again, as if it's having trouble. Finally the display goes back to normal. But I don't think the tape has actually loaded because when I fwd it, I hear the motor running again as it continues to display "load"...but I'm just about positive the tape isn't fwding. When I try to eject the tape, the display says "unload", but then it also tries to load it again, too. Anyway, this is really weird, so I'm beginning to think something is wrong with the machine. Any ideas? The deck looks dead mint, but I'm suspecting that it needs service of some kind. Jeff
