To my chagrin, one of my faithful AKG c3000s has stopped working altogether
after a short but effective drop. I am curious to know if anyone has
experience repairing condendor mics, and at what cost? Are there firms
that specialize in these kinds of repairs? My guess is that it would be
less costly to buy a used mic at $100-150, but I could be wrong.

(Skerik and) Critters Buggin have a new cd (first in nearly 5 years).
"Stampede" is out now on Ropeadope Records, however this new cd has been
refused by distribution channels as being 'too obscure'.
The biggest impression we can make is to (i) push local record stores, send
troops into the fields letting them know that they can get it directly from
Ropeadope; and (ii) support the band by buying it online and spreading the
word (and going to see them at their shows)

Ropeadope's distribution partners who refused to carry this record because
they found it too "obscure". Please support this music, buy it don't burn
it, and tell friends how to learn it.

just wondering if anyone has any experience with asus motherboards
concerning digital output.
I have an a7v333 w/ optical out and need to know if it can output 16/44.1,
16/48, and 24/48 without resampling anything.
