Purchased this new from Terrapin Tapes in or around 2000 when I couldnt (or didnt want to) figure out computer based burners and just wanted a compatible unit with my SonyR-500 for DAT > CDR transferring.
Now I dont have much use for it. SOLID standalone burner with very low hours...I believe HHB no longer makes the 850, it is now called the 830, which retails around $800. I have the power cord, manual and original receipt. make me an offer if interested,

long story short im in need of the 12 pin digi in/out
cable for the sony tcd-d10 pro, im pretty much 2the point
of taking anythin that slightly resembles 1 :P
any ideas or thoughts let me kno. i made a 7-pin in a pinch once
out of epoxy & what have u (that i still use on occasion)
but i just havent figured out a way 2 make 1 of these yet :(
bwt: any1 i had 2 turndown last time for your backed up audio programs
try again, i have a lil spare time & just bout everythin archived

Subject: Ebay bootlegger

What I usually do is use several of my ebay accounts I have on the side to
bid up to an ridiculously high amount (account #1 bids, I overbid with my
second account #2, I again overbid my account #2 with #1 or #3 and so
on..)and then get the CDR for maybe 10000 dollar.
When I get the high bid in the end I don't pay but give him a positive mark
on the job by writing "CD arrived safely,I have been looking for that for so
long".
When the bootlegger turns to ebay to complain ebay usually contacts me
asking if the deal has been put through or not.I always say "yes" and the
bootlegger now has a hard time and a lot of bitching with ebay NOT charging
him several hundred dollars (3-5 percent off the 10.000 dollar...:-)).
