Well it figures that I sell off all my schoeps and
then Fred Wesley comes to play a little jazz bar two
blocks from my place. I'll cover admission, tapes, and
a couple of drinks for anybody who can get a quality
rig in to pull a tape.

i run dpa4061's into the core sound power supply into a m1=2E   i usually
record very=20
loud sources=2E  i have found that i can only use line level=2E  but when =
i use
line level i=20
have to have the vol knob around 8-9 to get decent levels=2E  if i use mic=
 in
with the 20=20
db pad i am able to set the knob at 3-4, but i get distorted recordings=2E=
 =20
any thoughts=20
on this subject?  i hate to have to have the vol knob at 9=2E  thx
