Could someone possibly point me in the direction of the best recording & possibly do a B&P for me? Thanks, Chris BWT: B&P for......Rush Project R30: Radio City Music Hall 8-18-04 AT-853 Hypers>Beyer Dynamic MV 100>Sony D8 I'll take the first 3 to reply. http://www.phishhook.com/lists/ODJubilee
From: "Joe Mc." <energyi@mccabe.net> Subject: Grovel for Rack to fit DA-20 Date: Tue, 09 Nov 2004 19:55:58 -0800 Dear DatHeads: In 1995, instead of attending Jerry's funeral, I bought a DA-20 to tape and keep the music alive. Now, I will be donating the deck to the Palms Playhouse in Winters California so that more shows can be taped. Kinda like a taping memorial to Jerry. Anyone have a small rack that will fit the rack mount brackets on the DA-20? Will pay for shipping. Thanks in advance. Joe
From: Karl Rice <ker@ihug.co.nz> Subject: Denon DTR-80P DEW Problem, Help! Date: Wed, 10 Nov 2004 19:32:34 +1300 Hi, my Denon DTR-80P has been coming up with DEW on the screen for 2 months now and will not operate! I have taken it apart and dried out the insides but it stills says DEW (Meaning there's condensation in the head). The manual says to leave it turned off for 1-2 hours but clearly this doesn't work as its been months for me. Any heaps much appreciated! I love my little DTR-80 ;(
From: Nick Zuccaro <nmz77@yahoo.com> Subject: bill laswell's material set from bonneroo04?? Date: Wed, 10 Nov 2004 03:59:33 -0800 (PST) hey there, i finally got a copy of the material set from bonneroo off of bittorrent but there's a ton of misinformation about it...the source is a big fat ? and the lineup is listed as 2 different sets of players that doesn't match the stage introduction, track gaps and goofy cd-skipping noises inbetween the tracks. yeah it's one source, but kind of a bunk one at that...first off does anybody have any info for the set?? ....or..... have a good copy?? i did a post a while back and got no responses. there is rumored to be some kind of video of the set too. i do have the praxis set from b'roo too, which is pretty good if anybody's interested....let me know...l8r...Nick
From: James Treworgy <jamie@treworgy.com> Subject: Cronk? Reply-To: James Treworgy <jamie@treworgy.com> Date: Wed, 10 Nov 2004 07:43:55 -0500 Does anyone have any live recordings of the now-defunct New Orleans band Crönk? They released a single 6-song CD and were the highlight of Jazzfest for me for a couple years... but I've yet to come across a tape from their short career. Thanks for any help. -- Jamie
From: "Robert O'Haire" <plummer@nyc.rr.com> Subject: D/C power for DAP1/Sound Devices 744 Date: Wed, 10 Nov 2004 21:28:46 -0500 Greetings all...recently my DAP1 has been flaking out and not recording when I use the 6v D/C Echocharge system. The deck gets power but I'm guessing it falls below the required voltage..being 7.2v. Is there a vendor that makes the proper rechargeable cell for the DAP1(7.2v)...apparently Echocharge doesn't make it. Has anyone else had this problem?...the deck works flawlessly with A/C power. As a side note...have folks been using the Sound Devices 722/744 yet in the field...how do we like it guys? Thanks, Robert
