Hi all,
I see that the price has been around $439.00 for this unit mentioned
here about a month ago.
http://www.8thstreet.com/product.asp?ProductCode=24931&Category=Recorders
And a --SanDisk 1.0GB CompactFlash Card SDCFB-1024-A10 $69.99
11/14/2004
at compusa is now at a decent price...
My question; has anyone come up with a decent way to interface some of
todays mics that we currently use with or w/o our A/D boxes (InBox,
SBM-1 etc) into this unit? I really like to way the unit is made but not
a real good way to plug in our good mics?!?!
Or is there?
TIA,
Jay

I live in Italy so I would prefer to deal with a european fellow.
Thanks!

I would think that using omnis (the km183 is a fixed cap omni, btw..in
case you were not aware) in small clubs would probably produce worst
results than your cards. Maybe some 184s, or 185s would be your best bet.
For small club taping, I think going w/a hyper card will help take up
the slack of bad sounding rooms and chatty crowds.

Can someone please tape the following for me this Tuesday? Will trade you a
few shows from my list.
<<<On Tuesday (November 16) they (U2) will play a tiny show for Radio 1
competition winners and special guests at their studio at Dublin’s Hanover
Quays. The performance will be broadcast live on Zane Lowe’s show between
7-9pm.
That morning, Jo Whiley will be joined by the band live at the venue for her
10am show.
And the following morning, Chris Moyles’ breakfast show will come live from
Dublin to give the lowdown on what happened after.>>>
Have a nice day, Danny

This past Saturday at the Tower Theater with John Fogerty was really nice.
He looked and sounded great. MK4Vs > SX-M2 > SBM1 (24 bit) > D100 from 8 or
9 rows out in the center. It came out great. 2 CDs
I'll take a few B&Ps or trades.
Keep on Chooglin
Bob
