Yep... It's OK!
From the archive:

On November 18, 2002, Del McCoury Band gave permission for shows to be
hosted at the Archive:
Diana,
The band is officially giving their okay for this. Please fill us in on the
progress of it.
Many thanks,

uploads, uploaders might want to prefix folders or files with " "del" or
"mccoury" or something rather than "dm" or dmb". Thanks!

Audio Taping - Audio cassette and DAT taping is permitted at shows for
personal, non-commercial, home use only. We recommend that you bring
microphones and portable tape machines. Soundboard patches will not be given
out. Do not expect power; be prepared for everything. Please stay out of the
way of the working crew at all venues.
Please respect the wishes of the band and the crew, be considerate to other
fans, and feel free to ask questions and make comments. Also there is
absolutely NO VIDEO TAPING ALLOWED!

Stay Kind,
Dana

As far as I know he/they are cool with it. I saw them in Pittsburgh this
summer and they were the only act to play and there were about 5 rigs or
something like that.

I buy all my Maxell 90m DAT tapes from www.tape.com Cassette House. No problems to report and they are courteous to work out mistakes. Prices seem very competive but I don't know if they are the cheapest.

We have great prices , great staff of people who care and great customer
service (we actually answer the phone, very rare these days and ship
orders out before they are even place. Zen customer mind reading
technology).
Give us a call if you find it elsewhere for less, we'll do what we can
to match prices if it is new stock like ours (non-imports, used or
b-stock). Usually our price lines right up with the lowest anywhere but
a few bucks for customer service is worth it in the long run. Ever try
and call Amazon or Merritline if you have a question or a problem? You
usually get what you pay for. Except at Am-Dig...you get allot more!
Shameless plug band width tax:
(I'll take 3 BnP's)
DM+F 5.1 DTS Surround Sound 6-11-04 (excellent)

Hi,

recorded earlier this week, its actually during Rob Da Bank's show at
11pm. Can anyone in the UK tape this for me?
thanks,
Geoff

I've asked Del himself, and I was told a flat 'no'. Then, a few minutes
later, Ronnie McCoury found me to tell me that everybody else is cool with
it, so if I could set up "wtihout Daddy seeing it", it would be fine.
Whatever that meant.
Seems like at festivals, more 'open' shows like that, they don't worry about
it at all. But a sit-down, headlining show in a small venue might be a
different story - it was here in Charleston...
