Once again wondering if anyone will be taping at the Double Door on 
Saturday.  I'm hoping someone will be there early enough to catch the 
opener, Burn Rome Burn.  Website (http://www.doubledoor.com) says doors at

I agree, too...  i run my oade pcm-1 and micro mikes 
with Radio Shack NIMH rechargebles.... and i find if i
push the levels higher, i receive a much richer sound
that can not be duplicated with a tape made running
the levels -db20 no matter how loud my home unit is in
playback ....

of course this depends on how loud the show is...
because i always run the risk of burning my tape....
but that hasn't happened in a long time. 

i was never quite sure why, but maybe pushing the
levels means more juice from the batteries? and
happier integrated circuits!

Hello again.
I have tracked down upgrades and clones of nearly everything in my Verve
collection, but there are a few elusive titles I'm still trying to get my
paws on. If anyone can help me I would be very grateful. I believe I'm
nearing the end of the Verve trading universe. I'm looking for the
following sourced shows:

10/15/97 Black Session, France *audience version 50 minutes D7>MCS
11/18/97 The Mayan, Los Angeles, CA    9+  D8>SSM-185
8/15/98 Bill Graham Civic Aud., SF, CA D8>SSM-185
Also looking for David Kelly's audience version of the Haigh Hall gig from
5-24-98

and looking for upgrades of the following two shows:
6-8-95 Raw Club, London, England
7/28/95 9:30 Club, Washington D.C. (my source sounds as if has been through
myriads of cassette generations)
