TS.com and oade.com are aimed AT tapers, FOR tapers/future tapers. I've seen
so many instances over the past few years of tapers not knowing shows were
coming through their towns, or novice tapers who want to get their feet
wet(ter), or fans who'd love to get a hold of a show they've been to only to
find out no tapers were there. My site's for those purposes, and as the
domain name implies, to connect the tapers and the non-taping fans.

Eventually, I'd love to see a tour get announced, and within a few weeks
have a large portion of the tour covered by tapers...get an informed fan and
taper base working together, and having the interests of both parties met. I
hope that the board will be populated by a decent number of tapers who are
looking to get out and tape more shows, and have everything covered for them
by fans who are going to a show and would love to have it taped. Tapers
certainly don't have to come in there if they don't want to, but it's a
mutually beneficial endeavor if balanced right.

It's pretty barebones right now, and my lack of db/mysql knowledge doesn't
help much, but I've already gotten offers from a few good people who've
volunteered their services in helping me expand the features of the board a
bit (I still need to set up private messaging, for example). If there's
anyone reading this with db knowledge who'd like to help out, drop me a line
off-list and we'll talk.

Hey,
Anyone in Tokyo willing to tape Melt Banana 12/23 in Shinjuku at 
D.O.M.? I'll cover costs for the show, tapes, batteries, train.  
They'll be doing a longer set, many covers possibly. Should be a noisy 
good time.
