There were no audience tapes made that I noticed. Someone could have stealthed it, but they did not allow open taping for the event. There is also a FOB Neumann (ak40>lc3ka>km100>V3) recording available. You can grab the setlist from the text file included in the post. ============================== From: "KUZEN J" <kuzen_j@hotmail.com> Subject: X-Mas Jam Set-List Needed Date: Mon, 20 Dec 2004 23:55:16 -0500 I need to get an Detail Set list for the Warren Haynes X-Mas Jam on 12/18/04 in Asheville, NC. I'm in the Process of editing down my dats, so that I burn them to disc later. I will offer it up as an B&P and trades sometime Jan 2005. And and if you have the Pre X-Mas Jam on 12/17/04 that will be great too. But still looking for an GOOD copy of that show. Thanks, Michael _______________________________________________ Join Excite! - http://www.excite.com The most personalized portal on the Web!
From: Chris Gacek <gachevsky@gmail.com> Subject: ISO: Colin Meloy Tapers Reply-To: Chris Gacek <gachevsky@gmail.com> Date: Tue, 21 Dec 2004 21:55:31 -0600 Hello, Colin Meloy of The Decemberists is embarking on a brief and rare solo tour in January. He's going to be playing older songs, new songs from their forthcoming album, and some random covers. I'm hitting the Chicago show, but I'd love to get a couple of the others covered. If you're planning on taping any of them or you think you might be able to be convinced:), drop me a line at gachevsky@gmail.com. He has said in the past that taping is ok, just not board-feeds. It'll probably depend on the venue. I can prolly cover the admission at a couple of these if anyone is bored these nights: 01.13.05 - Seattle, WA - The Triple Door 01.14.05 =E2=80=93 Portland, OR - Douglas Fir Lounge 01.16.05 =E2=80=93 San Francisco, CA - Caf=C3=A9 Du Nord 01.17.05 =E2=80=93 Hollywood, CA - Hotel Caf=C3=A9 01.18.05 =E2=80=93 Hollywood, CA - Hotel Caf=C3=A9 01.19.05 =E2=80=93 Chicago, IL - Schubas 01.21.05 =E2=80=93 Arlington, VA - IOTA Club 01.22.05 =E2=80=93 New York, NY - Fez Under Time 01.23.05 =E2=80=93 Cambridge, MA - The Bear's Thanks, Chris
From: JPollQs@aol.com Subject: Trades/B&Ps open: 12/17/04 new Phil & Friends (WOW!) Date: Wed, 22 Dec 2004 07:57:07 EST I've enjoyed Phil Lesh's various Phil & Friends performances more than other GD-related projects, but not being a big Warren Haynes fan, I've not been overly impressed the past few years. However, I just snagged the first night of last week's Warfield shows and this new lineup, including a horn section, Barry Sless on pedal steel and Chris Robinson on vocals is a real treat. This show includes a wild setlist and even wilder performances. Phil even tackles the strangest of all vintage Dead tunes: Whats Become Of The Baby(!!), an incredible 17+ minute excursion into the outer regions of bizarreness! (I'm told this was inspired by the gruesome murder and baby snatching that headlined the news earlier this month. Whats become of the baby this cold December morning...yikes!) This show is one of the best Phil performances I've heard and the recording is superb, so I thought I'd offer it up for trades and a few B&Ps. If you'd enjoy a trade, please send a list. I'm not looking for any Dead myself, but I am looking to trade for other recordings of Fillmore East/West shows (all bands), Ebbets Field shows (all bands), Miles Davis and music from the 1965-1975 era in general. Also any recent Rickie Lee Jones, Patty Griffin or Sam Phillips from the past year or so. I'll also take two B&Ps from each list I send this to. Notation and setlist follow.
