The Coctails reunited recently to play a couple shows -- opening for the 
Pixies in Chicago and then opening for Yo La Tengo at Maxwell's.  
Anybody here tape them?

They'll also be playing a headlining show in Chicago on 1/15 at the 
Abbey Pub.  Can somebody tape that?

I've got lots of lots of things to trade.....

Hi,

I'm an incurable Jeff Buckley fanatic looking to fill out gaps in my 
collection with known source recordings of Jeff. A fellow trader and I 
are working on two different sides of the world to put together a 
somewhat definitive archive of JB recordings with known sources. We'd 
like to hear from anyone with DAT masters or clones with known lineage 
in particular. The Australia 1996 tour is proving especially hard to 
find, but anything is greatly appreciated. We have plenty to trade in 
return. Please contact off-list for trades.

hi, anyone ever tape a band/performer called death vessel?  it sounds like a
metal band name, but the music is a real rootsy/rural sound. its basically a
guy named joel thibadeau and various friends. i saw him perform alone as an
opener and was mesmerized. he's from rhode island, and i think plays the new
england circuit, though i saw him in NYC.   ps- he sings in a real high
voice, sounds like a woman singing ..  i'd love to have a live recording.
they have a web site and i bought their cd. if you like this type of stuff,
check it out.
