WTF??
i wrote keith OFF LIST 2 days ago, joked around with him, apologized
that he had taken offense to my tounge in cheek joke, told him no
offence was meant as it was unfortunate and obvious that some was
taken. we spoke about our own drinking/drugging habits (or lack
thereof), shows we've seen and even the fact that he used to deal
drugs in a small town. i again apologized and sd no offense meant. at
no time did i ever get the impression that days later would this be
dredged up again and thrown at me very publicly.
i had apologized for any misunderstanding and that should have been
the end of it.
to take it on list again days after i apologized for an unintentional
offense that was more a misunderstood joke than anything, is beyond
the pale.
really, i only pointed out tongue in cheek only that he had his facts
wrong while blasting someone for making "ludicrous and misinformed"
statements.
this was resolved days ago. or at least it should have been.
after our off list discussion i was thinking keiths an ok guy who i
mistakenly offened with a misunderstood joke. instead, now i'm left
with the impression that he's an angry drunk who cannot seem to let go
of something even days after he himself had said its all good, and no
problems or hard feelings .
now.... who the fuck cares about the medical specifics of heroin on
the human body and the untimely demise of the beloved fat man? is this
smack-heads or dat-heads? if that is what you want to endlessly rant
about, i bet there's plenty of medical discussion groups out there. go
find one
how a discussion regarding david lidseys dislike of tapers turned into
a five day rant from a "i know much more than you cuz i'm a nurse"
medical discussion/rant escapes my comprehension. learn how to spell
while in one of your drunken rages next time

only because you demand that this subject wont die. anyone else on
this list who cares about the affects of heroin on the human body has
the entire internet at thier fingertips, and can look up that info
without being talked down to

uhm, no i didnt. i never wrote anything remotely related to discussing
the cause of jerrys death. i only joked that you, who weas writing in
so knowelagbly had some facts wrong. simple joke.

when, 4 days ago in my initial post? i havent written in once since,
but i apologized to you in that time. you said it was good enough, now
it isnt? eff you

good for you knowing what you have started here was wrong, yet doing it anyway.

i'll assume you meant to type something legible. the date was relevant
in context. you personaly called someone "ludicrous and misinformed"
and went on to give erroneous information. aside from you personaly
attacking someone onlist, you gave crappy info while claiming to be
informed. while i apologized sincerely previously, now i am glad to
have been the someone who pointed out that YOU WERE WRONG.

again, and let me be crystal friggin clear: I DID NOT EVER OFFER MY
OPINION AS TO HOW JERRY DIED. why is the issue of how jerry died
getting your panties in such a bunch? defending heroin use. yea, its
great for you. speaks volumes for ya, keith. go to town, buddie.
the real bottom line here is this: CONTRARY TO LINDSEYS COMMENTS,
stealth audio TAPING DID NOT KILL JERRY GARCIA.
pretty simple huh? how'd you ever get registered if you just cant
grasp that simple concept is beyond me

i apologize to everyone who has had to read this childish bullsh*t,
but days after this was supposed to have been resolved, (and i was
privately assured that all was ok) having it publicly dragged on list
demanded an equally public response.
keith, grow up, get over yourself.
hooray for you. you are a nurse. no, wait, so much more than that, an
RN. now lay off the pipe.

Hello All-
I am trying to save some of my SBD+AUD matrix mixes in a high resolution
format. I start with 2 synched 16/44 sources and adjust the levels
(db) accordingly depending on the SBD to AUD ratio I am looking for.
When I go to mix these 2 sources from 4 channels to 2 channel stereo
Cool Edit Pro will only allow me to mixdown as another 16/44.
My thoughts were there is enough information/data in two 16/44 sources
to save as one 24/48. Am I being to overly simplistic with my thought
process? I assume one route to achieve this would be to upsample both
sources to 24/48 first, then do the mixdown. I do not want to just
upsample 16/44 sources plus it would mean a ton of processor time. I
would rather do just 1 lengthy processor wait for the two 16/44 source
mixdown to a single 24/48.
Thanks in advance for any help.
