I've listed this unit. I got it broken from another Dat Head, paid to have
it serviced by ProDigital. BWT: Free shipping to someone from the list.

Subject: D-7, need some advice

Long time lurker here, first time posting.
I picked up a used D-7 around this time last year
and because of life getting in the way, only had
taped one show with it since. It was the first
time using the dat and unknowingly did not have all my
connections made, so I ended up taping silence. But
the reason for my post is that when I was packing up
to leave the show, I pulled the battery sled out
without taking the tape out first. I must admit, I
was warned not to do this but in my haste, it
happened. So now I have gone from a working machine
to a machine that will load but won't record, play or
rewind/cue. Once I load a tape and try to record or
play, display goes blank for a second and then the
machine does not perform requested action. I searched
on the rockpark.com site for a solution but have come
up empty. Anyone have any suggestions? I'm really
ticked off as I missed taping a sweet Vernon Reid show
this past Saturday.
Thanks
Gary

Previously posted, still a bunch left with reduced pricing.
They are all 60m, all used for Data backup once. Should be degaussed 1st for
best results.
A. 3m --about 100pcs, tapes fine, ugly stickers on edge of box were used to
seal them shut. .85 each in lots of 20 or more plus UPS shipping.
B. Sony DG60Ma. Never heard of these before, but have been using them
without incident. No ugly stickers. About 75pcs. 1.00 each in lots of 20 or more
plus UPS shipping.
C. Sony DG60M. We all know these. Boxes fine. Ugly stickers on top of tape
shell which obscure view of how much tape is left. .75 each in lots of 20 or
more plus UPS shipping.

I have two Portege batteries that fit the 3440ct, 3480ct and 3490ct
laptops. One is the smaller battery that fits on the back of the laptop
(PA3038U-1BRL, 3000mAH), asking $65. The other is the add on sled that
attaches to the bottom of the laptop (PA3039U-!BRL, 5600mAh), I have
modified this with a hole in the bottom so you can swap the other
battery with out disturbing power, asking $100. Both batteries are in
excellent condition and are barely used. E-mail me privately if
interested. Thanks.

Is there anybody that can send me the Tascam da-30 owner's manual?
It's very hard to find it on the net.
Thank you in advance.
Thanks for the space.
Luigi.
