When I put it in my home tascam deck (dual dat 302) and went to rewind the tape, the tape stopped at about 6:45 abs time. I pulled it out, manually wound the reel then played it , and it stopped again. I manually got it past that point then put it in the deck and fast forwarded the tape and it stopped again at 1:07:00 . Is the problem the tape itself or the housing it is in? Should I take the reels out and put them in another housing? Is that similar to vhs tapes, which I have done surgery on before.
