From: snuffyus64 <snuffyus64@yahoo.com> Subject: DAT Copy Prohibit? Date: Wed, 23 Feb 2005 11:49:09 -0800 (PST) Alittle new here maybe someone can help me out with a trasfer question? I patched into a taper at a show the other evening great tape but when trying to transfer it Soundforge6.0 dosent show anything in the channels to record. Tape plays fine though. Tried to do a DAT clone of it getting a message in the TCD-100 window Copy prohibited how did this happen or better yet how do I transfer it? I have a Sony 75es standalone also. Do I have to do a analog? I plugged into the taper through my 7pin oade brothers in digital. Any help would be great. Thanks hope Im not asking a question that is stupid? Alittle new at this. Thanks Feel free to email me if you might be able to help me further and need alittle more info. snuffyus64@yahoo.com http://www.phishhook.com/lists/snuffyus64?listid=0 __________________________________ Do you Yahoo!? From: "Conall O'Brien" <klr_a4@hotmail.com> Subject: Lenmar batteries for Sony D10 Pro ll Date: Thu, 24 Feb 2005 02:23:51 +0000 Looks like the only alternative for replacement batteries for the Sony D10 Pro ll DAT is the Lenmar SP22S, and for a battery charger the Lenmar BCR336. I don't want to buy Sony batteries if I don't have to. Anybody using the lenmar SP22s battery for the Sony D10 ? Are they any good? Anyone know how long The D10 can record with a freshly charged Lenmar battery on average? What's the deal with the adapter plate for the charging system P/N APS22. Is the adapter plate necessary with the Lenmar BCR336 charger? Are there any Any plug and play battery powering options for the D10, where I don't have to change the functionality of the recorder and risk shorting the deck out? Thanks in advance, Conall
From: Dat Head <dathead2@gmail.com> Subject: need recommendation on HDMI/DVI cable (just got VOOM dist today) Reply-To: Dat Head <dathead2@gmail.com> Date: Wed, 23 Feb 2005 17:20:22 -0500 the friggin' monster cable is $90 which as with all of their stuff is ridiculous. so i'm looking for alternatives but still hi-q. i saw a few for $30-40 range, but had never heard of the brands. anybody else VOOMing? i can't wait to try it out tonite!
From: shane b <dronelistee@yahoo.co.uk> Subject: Edirol R-1 wav recorder levels problem Date: Thu, 24 Feb 2005 05:49:06 -0800 (PST) hello i'm posting this for a friend, all replies greatly appreciated, thanks I recently got an Edirol R-1 wav recorder and tried using it at last night's Babyshambles gig in Brixton (London). Unfortunately the recording came out pretty over-recorded (distorted) and 'brick-walled', despite the levels used being well under the max. When the wav is played back using Nero Wave Editor the max. height is +/- 30%. The mic. was an Audio Technica AT822 stereo condenser (1.5 V internal battery), which I've used many times before with DAT and MD recorders. I was connecting via the mic input and selecting the CND (condenser) option so I expected it to work fine. Has anyone else had any experience of using this set up, or something similar? I've gigs planned for Friday and Saturday so any help would be appreciated. __________________________________ Do you Yahoo!? Read only the mail you want - Yahoo!
