From: "Shaw, Jeff S AZ" <jeff.s.az.shaw@intel.com> Subject: Hidden Hand/Burning Brides/Mastodon Date: Tue, 8 Mar 2005 10:06:34 -0700 I plan on taping the AZ show on the 29th. Sanken COS 11s-pt-rm > PCM-M1(oade) http://www.geocities.com/jssmet Jeff ================================ From: "john e. bogus" <bogusisme@surfbest.net> Subject: more shows worth taping Date: Mon, 7 Mar 2005 09:00:56 -0500 Hidden Hand is also about to tour soon, with Mastodon and Burning Brides. This tour will be through just about everywhere except for the northwest and east coast. Headliners Mastodon have been making quite a buzz as of late, but what I would really be looking for are the Hidden Hand sets. Hidden Hand would probably best be compared to sort of a cross between Black Sabbath and Motorhead, if you can imagine Tony Iommi and Lemmy on the same http://www.thehiddenhand.com/shows.php I'd really like to hear from anyone who tapes any of these shows....I've traded or corresponded before with some of you who are in about half of the places (NO, TX, AZ, CA, WI, and IL come to mind....do I have to email you guys personally to convince you how worthwhile this is?) this tour will hit, so I know you're out there.....the shows should be reasonably priced, so don't miss out! Yours Truly, john e. bogus
From: "Erik Heath" <erikheath@hotmail.com> Subject: re: Mr. Crowes Garden Date: Tue, 08 Mar 2005 17:33:36 +0000 Marc Ford & Chris Robinson sat in w/ Gary Louris & Marc Olson from the jayhawks...but there was no mr crowes garden / black crowes show. any gig that "mr crowes garden" is playing is not open taping...you'll need to stealth. Once the gigs start up at the hammerstein it will be open taping. For whatever reasons, they don't want the warm up shows taped... what shows are you planning on taping? peace- Erik
From: h Grape Minkoff <thegrape@gmail.com> Subject: Re: ISO: jb3 Reply-To: h Grape Minkoff <thegrape@gmail.com> Date: Tue, 8 Mar 2005 12:55:18 -0500 Try the jb3 yahoo-group (http://groups.yahoo.com/group/njb3tapers) or ebay. I used CS binaurals with the bass rolloff for one show and it came out fine. I had to post-process it to boost the levels. ============================================================== From: shane b <dronelistee@yahoo.co.uk> anyone have a lead a cheap jb3 the cheapest i've seen is 440$ USD thanks p.s am i going to need a pre-amp to power my coresound binuals mics w/ bass rolloff filter? please say no.

From: "Middleton, Scott D." <MiddletonS@umkc.edu> Subject: FS: Set of Nak CM300's Date: Tue, 8 Mar 2005 14:54:55 -0600 Set of Nak cm300's up for grabs . They are in great shape, and come w/; a Nak 100 box, both sets of caps (cp-1, and cp-2), and four batts. The batts are not brand new, but still have some life in em, maybe 5 more shows for each set. $300 plus shipping and insurance, and I'll split the Paypal fees w/ you. I'll also take Postal M.O. if you prefer. Can send pics if needed. Scott
From: geofry@speedsite.com Subject: Motorhead Chicago warning Date: Tue, 8 Mar 2005 15:44:23 -0600 (CST) Anyne planning on taping Motorhead avoid the Chicago House of Blues. They're doing 2 shows here. Nightmare security. Pat down, wand, and emptying of the pockets. Generally 3 security people give you a work over. Total pain. Geoff
From: rappard@dds.nl Subject: [OT] calling scooke Date: Tue, 8 Mar 2005 23:24:29 +0100 (CET) Apologies for the waste of bandwidth - is Stefan Cooke (spelling?) still on this list? Martin http://pixieslive.com

I hear them a lot on internet radio (radio paradise) and love their sound. I'll send you my list if you get in touch.
