Hi, if anyones taping queens on their current tour, and isn't on 
taperssection the stoner rock message board or easytree could you please 
contact me for a trade.  i'd prefer to just grab the shows online but I 
understand some tapers don't like to seed their shows.  I will be doing 
several shows with Microtech gefells > mini me > jb3 so i'll have new as 
well as old masters to trade.

I can confirm that the Marantz 660 will take a 2 GB Sandisk Ultra II 
CF, but I've had trouble with both a 330 MB (IBM) and a 4 GB 
(Hitachi) microdrive, so I dunno.  I have a couple of 1 GB 
microdrives around here somewhere and will test them when I unearth 
them.

Hey all...been away from the list for a bit, but my
search for this recording definitely brings me to this
group.

Did ANYONE get a recording of Luna's farewell tour
performance at St. Andrew's Hall in Detroit, MI on
Feb. 24, 2005?

I talked with the FOH and he said that even the band
did not tape that night, which is a REAL shame since
it was the last tour AND the band SMOKED that
night....he also mentioned that they were disappointed
that nobody taped, even though they were encouraging
AUD taping..

If ANYONE pulled a recording from this night, please

Is there anyone on the DAT list that is in South Africa?

I'm hoping to find someone to tape the 46664 benefit concert this Saturday.

Annie Lennox will perform for an hour.

I'd like to get it on DAT or CDR or even VHS.

I began to convert some old cassette tapes to disc by running my Nacamichi>a 
Sony R300 Dat>my hard drive. I found that, with the R300 empty, I could hit 
the "record" button,  bring up a display reading "source," and feed the 
Nakamichi directly into the hard drive. I've obviously made an A/D 
conversion. Has the "SBM" function of the R300 also been utilized?
