Your battery is perhaps dead... how long have you been using it? If you can find a cheap replacement, you're in business again; here in Italy Sharp asked more than $100 (!) for a spare, so I went on eBay and got a external, piggyback-type Battery Box (Sharp original, you can find it in the manual) for $25, including shipping to the other half of the world. Brand new. It carries two AA batteries and gives you plenty of recording time. :) > God help me - I got a TOC error while taping a show the last time as > well.. Solve your power issues first, then you can investigate more on this (if you get it again). Best regards, Raffaele

Back in 1993 I was trying to get into a Concrete Blonde show at the Whisky. I was using my D3 with an external lead acid battery. Not a huge one, but still pretty good sized. That's what they found. I tried telling the security guy that I needed it to start my car, but he wouldn't buy it. __________________________________ Do you Yahoo!? Yahoo! Personals - Better first dates.
