Hi,
I 've re-started DAT trading after an interval of a few years.
I have these master DATs of 2005 Osaka shows :
EUROPE- Jan. 09, Grand Cube Osaka (108min. EX)
VELVET REVOLVER- Feb. 03, Zepp Osaka (98min. EX)
VELVET REVOLVER- Feb. 05, Intex Osaka-Sonic Mania 05 Festival (52min. EX)
MARILYN MANSON-Feb. 05, Intex Osaka-Sonic Mania 05 Festival (82min. EX)
MEGADETH - Apr. 09, Zepp Osaka (117min. EX)
I wanna trade these shows with your DAT master clones or Low gen. DAT.
I'm sorry that I can't trade on CD-R and MD media.
I'm looking for Heavy Metal and 70s Hard Rock tapes.
thanks,
Taka

Yo, Charlie - do yourself a favor and buy a Nomad Jukebox III. Not only is
it a cheap and simple device, it holds 20 gig or more (think 27 hours), and
you can transfer your shows to your computer with only a USB or Firewire
cable - you won't have to worry about a soundcard at all. Most important,
you won't have to send your ruined DAT deck off for weeks of costly repairs
once the marine environment destroys your deck, which I figure would take,
oh, three or four weeks, tops.
Seriously, I wouldn't buy a DAT deck now for use in my own smoke-free,
salt-free, humidity-controlled, temperature-controlled home, let alone any
semi-tropical marine environment. You'll kill a DAT in literally days.

I know this doesn't get done a whole lot anymore but I wanted to send a note
out to the list about an upstanding member of the list. A couple of weeks
ago after exhausting many other websites and lists looking for a used set of
mics I finally turned to DAT-Heads. Why I didn't start on this list in the
first place is beyond me. Luckily, Kevin Hatton responded to me. After a
few emails I arranged to buy some of his gear. Kevin could not have been
any quicker or more responsive. It really was a joy to work out a deal with
him. Big props to Kevin!
As a member of this list for damn near 10 years and the waves of posts
seeming to dwindle over time, it sure is refreshing to know that this list
still has its heart intact.
Thanks again Kevin and DAT-Heads!
See you all at the next show!
David

Hi
I taped the Finn Brothers at the Royal Albert Hall in London on the first
night of their 3 shows on my D7.
Nice recording, looking to trade for other recent Finn Brothers shows,
particularly the other nights in London.
Thanks
Dave

Anyone here planning on going to any of these shows
and taping? Both HR and Monty Morris have been
semi-retired so any chance to capture them is quite
rare.
These guys spread good vibes. Anyone?
