I was wondering where can I find cheap DAT recorders, maybe those walkman
models will work. I already have a deck, but I'm looking for something more
light and easy to move.
I'm also looking for trades related to Secret Chiefs 3, Mr. Bungle, Master
Musicians of Bukkake, Faxed Head, etc. etc.

I taped Fantomas last year, and they seemed perfectly open to it. I
was initially stealthing, but then I saw a taper with a hand-held mic
standing in front of the the soundboard; I asked about the policy, and
he said it was cool, so I unstealthed as well, in plain view of the
soundboard and even the stage. *shrug* guess they might have changed
policies...

I have an extensive Radiohead collection on DVD and VHS and even some on
DV and am looking to trade. Most is relatively common, some uncommon,
some almost entirely untraded. I cannot copy VHS, but can do VHS>DVD/DV
as well as digital 8><mini DV. Drop me a line off list if you're
interested.

I just won tickets on WFNX and I realized I cannot make it. The bands
playing are The Bravery and Ash. Now, normally I would go and tape but
I have made prior commitments that cannot be broken, so I would like
someone in the Boston-area to go for me and tape it if they can. Their
ticket is paid for (hopefully). You will have to say you are me, which
if someone is willing we can figure it all out. The Bravery is a pretty
cool band from NYC. They kind of remind me of early 80's New Order but
with more rock. Email me if interested!
