The Shins taping policy ("Fares Halteh") old skool tapers ("Ron Rummel") Fostex CR300 repair vs. new burner ? (Erik B)
From: "Fares Halteh" <Halteh3@Rogers.com> Subject: The Shins taping policy Date: Fri, 15 Apr 2005 10:10:18 -0400 Taping these guys on the 17th, I've been hearing a lot of things about them being open taping, but I know for a fact the venue they are playing is going to give me a really hard time about that. Wondering if there is anyone I should ask to speak to, or if anyone knows the soundman's name. Looking forward to testing out my 722 for the first time :) Many thanks --fares
From: "Ron Rummel" <ron_rummel@hotmail.com> Subject: old skool tapers Date: Fri, 15 Apr 2005 20:52:13 +0000 Looking for any tapers in the Portland, Oregon area circa 1970. In paticular anyone who may have taped the Led Zeppelin show in March of 1970 at the Memorial Coliseum. From: Erik B <erikb33@bellatlantic.net> Subject: Fostex CR300 repair vs. new burner ? Date: Fri, 15 Apr 2005 18:15:58 -0400 So I've had a Fostex CR300 for several years and now it won't read any disc I put in it. It used to do this sporadically, but now it's 100% of the time ("check disc" error). I would either like to repair it or get something similar. Has anybody here had the same problem and got it repaired? If I could do it for $150 or so it would be worth it. More than that I'd just be tempted to get a new machine altogether, in which case - any recommendations? thanks, Erik
