I'm mainly interested in the 3 min. or so interview segment but, would be happy to have the performance of Lover Man as well. Any format would be fantastic DAT, CDR, cassette, FTP, bit torrent...whatever. I'd be happy to work some sort of trade and would even offer this back up to the list as a B&P to anyone interested. Thanks! But then maybe that's why the answer is no. > Yep, it's officially no taping. Was the same way last year. I've taped Tony Furtado and talked to him a few times when he has played here in Phoenix. I know he is OK with it. Anyway... a few of us phx tapers will be stealthing at least Saturday. Stay kind, Dana ------------------------------ From: "Danny T" Subject: Battery Sled for M-1? Date: Wed, 27 Apr 2005 11:07:31 -0500 Has anyone ever built a sled like the one at the following link?: http://members.tripod.com/~groovin/battery.html I was wondering if someone with more electrical knowledge could tell me if something like this was safe for the internal guts of the M-1? Have a nice day, Danny ------------------------------ From: "Fredbob Jackson" Subject: M-1 replacement batteries Date: Wed, 27 Apr 2005 16:09:40 +0000 Looking for some replacement batteries for a Sony M-1. The rechargeables that came with it (NHD100) look like they're getting harder to find, and thus more expensive; I found some for $60, which I found hard to believe. Is there another solution that's similar in recording time (3-4 hours) that isn't so expensive? Thanks in advance. See: (mind the wrap) Or just go to any mega-mart and pick up a dozen or so. I think Eveready makes a 2300 mAh battery these days. They recharge fine in the Sony charger and have half-again more capacity (2100 mAh). They've lasted up to 6 hours (2 three hour tapes back-to-back--may have gone longer than that) in my M1. -- Wayne D.
