i'm currently reviewing it...but I can tell you that for its price, it
kicks serious ass.
analog section sounds pretty decent. ease of use is "easy". Its not
perfect, but for what it offers it really can't be beat. Its the only 4
channel recorder w/4 XLR / phantom inputs that I know of.
you can run two rigs simultaneously with it, and it will record two
stereo tracks (or 4 mono).
Plus, it will record over 3 hours with internal AA at 24/96. pretty sweet.
For serious performance , an outboard pre in front of it shines. You
must run it at line level w/most mics, or else it brickwalls (just like
the FR2 does) as its not built to be recording in 100+db concert
environments.
nice box, and around a grand cheaper than the 722, which is only 1/2 the
channels.

I'm looking for someone who can help me with some
remastering of 2 shows I recently recorded.(Lenny
Kravitz & Motley Crue) I dont have the capabilities
nor the know-how to do them myself. Any help would be
appreciated. I can provide more info upon request.
Thanks for the advance help,
Jeff
