From: "Chris Black" <chris_melas01@hotmail.com> Subject: PCM-M1, Oade Active Cable, plus lots of extras on Ebay Date: Thu, 02 Jun 2005 22:07:30 -0400 Hello All, I've put up my M1 and everything one could need to start patching right out of the box. The auction's item number is: 7326786221. Hope someone can put all this stuff to good use. The auction includes the following (and for high quality close up pictures of each item, visit http://spaces.msn.com/members/chrismelas and look to the right of the screen for a photo album for this auction): THE DECK: --One Sony PCM-M1 DAT machine in original packaging and with original manual. --Original Sony 4.5 volt wall wort (AC power supplier) --Original Sony AA (2) rechargeable batteries with charger THE CABLES: --Oade Brothers Active Digital Cable (Female coaxial Y cable to Sony 7-pin for digital connection to and daisy chaining from your PCM-M1) [RETAILS FOR $165 AT OADE.COM!!!]. This is an ABSOLUTE MUST HAVE CABLE FOR RECEIVING AND PASSING A DIGITAL SIGNAL FROM ANY SONY PORTABLE DAT DECK. --6 Foot Digital Coaxial Cable (male to male) --Monster Digital Y-Splitter (female to male) --Digital Barrel Plug --RCA to 1/8 Inch Cable --1/8 Inch to 1/8 Inch Cable THE TAPES (OVER 30!!!) --10 sealed, brand new Sony 90m digital audio tapes (that's 30 hours of recording time). --8 brand new Maynard and 1 Sony 60m digital audio tapes (that's 18 hours of recording time). --14 used digital audio tapes, with live recordings of various artists, including Keller Williams, The String Cheese Incident, the Steve Kimock Band and more. MORE POWER!!! --6 Brand New Energizer Lithium AA batteries, which will run the deck for a very long time - more than enough time for an entire two set show and then some! MORE GOODIES --Sony Car Cassette Adapter (Connect your PCM-M1 to your car's stereo with this cassette adapter. Also comes with a power plug that can run the M1 from the lighter. Still in packaging and never used!) --Case Logic Carry Case In the interest of full disclosure, I have noticed a slight decrease in rewinding speed. I'm not savvy enough to know if this is indicative of a problem with the heads or motors or anything for that matter; but I do know that these decks can be serviced by Pro Digital in Pennsylvania for around $100 (much cheaper than the Sony service). This deck and all accessories are sold AS-IS. Should you have any questions, please feel free to email. Payment by PayPal only. Free Shipping!!!! Chris in DC
