This is a little off topic, but does anyone on this list have the Tool -
Tales from the Dark Side CD single? It was released in England, and has the
album version of Sober, and 8 or 9 live songs. This is the legit CD single
artwork and not the bootleg artwork that I'm looking for. If anyone has it and can
either scan it and send me the files or mail me a color copy, I'll pay you
for the trouble and/or send you some shows. Please contact me if you can help.
Thanks,
Wes

First, my apologies for the non-DAT post, but I need
help badly and couldn't think of a better place to
ask. Suggestions would be welcomed.
I am working on a traveling oral history project that
aims to do 250,000 interviews over the next ten years.
We recently hit the road with two Airstream trailers
that have recording studios set up in the back.
Each forty-minute interview is recorded simultaneously
to two rack-mounted cd burners and a CF recorder
(Marantz PMD570). We have to record to cd (reliably)
so that participants can leave the booth with a copy
of their interview.
We were using the Tascam CDRW2000 with excellent
results, but have outfitted the new trailers with HHB
Burnit 830 Plus (because it has XLR inputs).
Unfortunately, the HHBs do not like our cd-r media,
which has a write speed of upto 52x. HHB recommends
using 1x-24x.
Does anybody know where we can find several thousand
silver printable cd-r (700MB) meeting HHB's
requirement? I have searched the internet and can't
seem to find a good source. The media must be
printable so that we can have our logo/graphics
applied.
All help would be appreciated.
Thanks.
Kayvon
