My ticket has the following text on the back: "No professional 'type' audio/visual or any digital recording equipment will be allowed into the venue." Is this enforced? It seems that what you're saying (and most likely Steve's problem) is that the audio meters on these units don't show the Input signal until it's been sent to and back from a VCR in PCM-video mode. So if you just connect an audio signal, they would appear to not be working, even though they are. But the real question is, why would anyone want to record in this format today?
