Does anyone on the list have disc 4 from the 6 CD set Spinal Tap - None
More Black. I D/Led this set a few months ago and just got around to
unflacing it. My disc 4 is corrupt. Can anyone offer it for FTP d/l
or B&P. Thanks in advance.

Hi Dave,
I saw your post on Dat-heads.
I started a trading group a few years ago called
"JeffersonFamilyTrading".
Jefferson Airplane
Jefferson Starship
Hot Tuna
Jorma
and all the other permutations

Looking to find a copy of last weeks Hot Tuna show in Raleigh, NC.
Anybody out there tape this, or know of somebody who did? I saw at
least mic stand setup. If not does anybody know of a good resource
(mailing list, message board, etc) for Hot Tuna recordings/trades?
Thanks in advance ...
Cheers,
Dave

Not entirely DAT related but..
I am curious about recording on the iPod. I have been thinking of moving to
an all-hard disk based recording solution for a while (since the last time
my D7 eat a tape).
I really like the idea of using the iPod for this purpose (esp. since it
uses linux). Even if you got caught, you can just tell the guy, "hey it's an
MP3 player, you can't record on it.".
So my questions are:
Has anyone used it for recording?
How is the quality?
I believe you need an adapter to use the line-in function. How well does
that work?
Are you able to record in stereo or just mono (I am using Core Sound
Binaurals)?
Any issues with transferring the data over?
This might be good to respond to the list with as I am sure other people are
considering this as well.
Thanks!
Rich
