Rich,
I am very interested in the iPod Linux recording stuff. But, I am waiting
until the mini is supported. Also, be aware that you can easily hose your
iPod if you don't know exactly what you are doing. But, according to the
website, you can record in stereo using the same JAE dock connector that is
supplied with the device. You will want to buy a new one of course instead
of hacking up the one that comes in the box. I have not found the full P/N
yet. I have submitted a request to the factory. The connector makes a good
connection, and has a usable life of 10,000 cycles (plug/unplug).

off a trade for , in spring 2004, with the materials of a PBS Buffalo Guitar
Fest from a Blues Festival.
Dont actually know the date of the event or of the airing, but obviously

Anyone taping at this festival this weekend? If so, I'd be much obliged if
someone would tape Burn Rome Burn on Saturday at 2 on the corner of Lincoln
and Cornelia. I've plugged them here before with little traction; but I'll

Hi everybody
Thanks to everybody who gave me advice about what recording equipment to get
so I can start recording some shows. I was surprised that many tapers now
recommend mini disc as recording equipment and pleased as it is a little
cheaper than DAT :o)

Hi,
I'm looking for tapers to record Wendy and Lisa (Prince) along with
Doyle Bramhall II at Largo in Los Angeles every Wednesday night this
month. There will be more shows in August but not listed yet. Check out:

Wendy and Lisa were Prince's back up band in the 80's and Doyle
Bramhall II has played with The fabulous Thunderbirds, Arc Angels, Roger
Waters, Eric Clapton, Meshell Ndegeocello, and many others. These shows
should be incredible. Unfortunately open taping is not allowed so you'd
have to be inconspicuous about it.
A friend of mine went to the show this past Wednesday and said it was
amazing. Please contact me off list if there is a possibility someone
could tape these legendary shows.
